I know that many players like myself are constantly swapping between outfits and armor sets. We have our buffed armor set, non-buffed armor set, and low or 0 encumberance street clothes for non combat or roleplaying.
Switching between them could be made fast and easy by implementing "outfit" option in the inventory. When viewing the image of your character in the inventory sidebar, a button could be added to "save as outfit." The current equipment info would be saved and a drop-down menu in the same window could be used to switch between them.

That would be great if they would do that for all us clothes hounds. in the meantime, you can always write a macro to do it.. not quite as slick but good in a pinch. =)

Just stick your clothes on the toolbar (the last one.. which is labeled 6 but in code is 05).
Put the icon for the macro on your first toolbar and click it when you want to change to that outfit. Note that when doing armor, you need to add pauses for the timers that prevent armor from switching instantly. When I have more than 4 items to put on/off I add a little pause so that it doesnt get killed by lag..better cautious than without pants

I used to use that macro all the time with my armor until they put that delay
