Well, I figured since everyones sharing their peice, heres mine:
You all complain that these new rewards are usless, and yes, I agree, they are. The serve no purpose other than decoration. However, thats ok for me, I have a museum, and these items gave it a bit more pep(as if it needed any heheeh)
But seriously folks, would I rather have a bunker house, or something to that effect? Yes I would, I would have given all those holos for 1 bunker house.
Would that have been more useful and benificial? Yes
I agree with all that, dont get me wrong. But heres the point im trying to press:
Though these gifts arnt as great and game shaking as their predecessors (ADK, Self powered Harvestor, etc...) they are gifts none the less. The devs ARE trying to reward us vets for playing as long as we have.
Grant it alot of the ideas in the "2 year vet reward" post were awsome, we still got something and something is better than nothing at all.
The devs have alot of work to do in order to get things right, but they are still trying. Maybe they are holding off for all that stuff for future publish's/patches/expanions etc. Who knows.
Sum of it all: I agree with you all, the rewards could have been alot better, but appreciate what you get.

Of course they're holding off for future use. The next expansion or dare I say "Total Experience 2" will probably include some fun and useful items that will only be available for purchase. Just look at what happened with the BARC speeder. That was something that should've been a vet reward. But instead it's a reward for new players. Of course this comes as no shock to me that they want new subscribers or more money, but to not give us veterans an equal reward is what kills me.
Just wait until the player base has another outrage like with the CU, that's when we'll see old reward ideas dug up and used finally.

dude nobody cares, they are sh!tty gifts whether you like em or not. nobody wants them. i dont care if they are free gifts or rewards or whatever, they suck and i dont want em. if somebody gave me a wooden #2 pencil for my birthday i would tell them "hey this gift sucks." sorry if it sounds mean but its the truth.

the 2 yr vet reward is a slap in the face to everyone who stuck around but no one should be surprised, i know im not.

yep sure there rewards and we should be thankfull to get anything but when you give new players a luxuiry and possibaly the most usefull item the indestructable barc speeder as a reward for joining then give 2 year vets a useless decor item you send a very clear message over who is more important to soe
