Since everybody likes to complaing about their GIFTS... What sort of rewards do you get in other MMORPGS? And how did they affect the economy and overall gameplay of those games?
I am happy with these rewards. A new vehicle or house type would have been nice, as they weren't game breaking in any way, other than maybe crapping on the crafters a little. I think it was the ADKs that really messed everything up. Those really told the WS people where they ranked in the grand scheme of things. But some of the things I have seen listed as alternatives to the decorations? It almost seems like people want some sort of God-Mode to be turned on for them. Sheesh. A Star Detroyer???
Look... The only TRUE beef that can be made against the current gifts is that they are all purely decorative. Some people have no interest in decorating their homes or ships and cannot use these whatsoever. Yeah, someone said they could just sell them, and that's true. But if I were in that position, I wouldn't feel too special, having to sell my gift. The AT-PT was the one item that seemed to receive the most positive hype, and I think the devs should really rethink not including that item.
