I was under the impression that "loudspeakers" were fairly rare. I started a quest yesterday and got 4 total. Also, the quest doesn't seem to end, I can keep redoing it. Were speakers really rare, or was I mistaken?

Well, I saw that they were going to redo the Valarian missions and since I still hadn't gotten around to the old ones, I decided to get them done. I found that I had -5000 Valarian faction so I couldn't even start them. I poked around the place and found a thug in a back room who gave me missions. Pretty easy stuff really, similar to the Imperial theme park. (Go here, talk to this guy, come back) The best part is that there is two of the guys in different rooms. If you don't have any outstanding missions, you should be able to do two at a time and they give the same rewards. (Speakers, Broken Encryptor, Holocron Splinters)

I believe Loudspeakers are old style mission rewards that you get from Criminal type NPC's. Just the generic mission givers that were in game at launch. They may very well be a deliver type where you have to steal it with your backpack, but I'm almost certain they are gotten from some of the old lame quests.

They weren't rare, it's just not many people knew how to get them. Just like very few people ever even knew or did the original Valarian TP, even though the loots were pretty nice.

You can still get them from the "a criminal" NPCs in all major NPC towns. You just have to keep on taking and giving up the missions until you get one that comes with the "I'll give you somethin' I got on a cantina job" or 'I've got just the thing for you when you get back" dialogs. I in one day filled up an inventory and a backpack with them. They make great presents

you used to get one from the rebel theme park. was one of the few cool rewards it had at first.

Used to get them as a reward from thecriminal mission in coronet cantina, he also gives you red holocron splinters and shisha's.

but im not sure if this is still working, been ages since ive done it.

I used to get them in Kaadara off "a criminal" NPC. Think I had like 10 of them. Set them up in my large Generic house. Place looked like a concert hall.

Cool, thanks for the help. I asked a few people on my server, but everyone I talked to said that they thought speakers were a Rebel theme park reward only.


Looks like I need some smarter friends...
