Every server has their own economy and price ranges. Your best bet is to browse your server's trade forum to see what sells for what, or post a "PC" thread (price check) if you wish to sell something but don't know how much it generally goes for.

Just be careful and don't take one person's word for it, as they might deliberately tell you a low price because they want it for themselves. Let the PC thread grow for a couple days, and then turn around and sell it.
