2 questions.
Is the max capacity of a backpack 50 items? is there any way to get more in it?
I have two cargo pockets, 1 I looted off a bad guy and one a tailor made for me. The onei looted I can put 20 items in. The one the tailor gave me wont alow me to put any in. Whats up with that? BTW the tailor told me it wouldn't work but I asked for one just to try it out. . .

max capacity is 50 items
Cargo pockets are components used to make backpacks. So, no, you wouldn't be able to use one that a tailor made. At least not as far as I know.
Hope that helps.

I have a similar question about backpacks. What's the difference between a tech pack and a bounty hunter back pack other than looks. I know they both hold 50 items but does one or the other have more weight cappacity.

a backpack is a backpack is a backpack. Like any other clothing item, you pay for style and distinctiveness.

What's the name of the backpack that's kind of bulky and squarish. It rides high on ones back...I've seen it a few times. Is that not a craftable item? I havn't seen it on any of the catalogue sites... Anyone know? I'd kind of like one.

I've seen coverts wearing em, just like coverts wearing storm trooper armor. I think you only need to be overt to equip it to start with.

Nope. Got one the other day—you don't have to beovert while wearing it, nor do you have to be overt to equip it(unlike the new theme park loot…wish I could wear my B-Wing Pilot Survival Suit, but going around overt would make trading finished good particularly difficult.) I don't know if you can wear it as a non-rebel, but I'd guess so—it doesn't seem to check really. (Now I just need 17000 FP so I can get the marine armor…not that I want to wear it—I love my advanced composite. I just want to own a set.

I'm not positive as I've not done it myself, but I read if you drop or switch your faction, any and all faction perks you have such as AT STs, troopers and things like backpacks go *poof!* I read on the tech support forum of a guy who had all his crafting resources in the Rebel backpack when he dropped faction. The pack and everything in it -- *POOF!* I think you get a message somewhere while resigning that you will lose all faction perks. But it is not clearly defined what that means. Be careful.

But can you trade it to someone, drop it in a building or droid to keep it?

You know, I was wondering the same thing—but I don't feel like losing my rank to find out.

You can't even get upto 1500 as a Private
Maybe I'll check it out this weekend. I don't care about my rank, I only advanced so I could get some of that sweet tech furniture. LOL
