Some of the new loot dropping in ROTW is great! The concern I have is that because these are not schematics, most loot items are only good for so long and are NOT REPLACEABLE. Who is going to use their new proton carbine knowing that once it wears out its gone forever? Same can be said for clone trooper armor, etc....

I'm probably going to ADK my proton carbine, but I agree when it comes to this kind of loot. It should be a schematic use, or should be redoable.
Especially considering the rate at which armor decays now, that clone armor will get shot down pretty quickly.

Would be cool if they left it this way for 6 months to a year and then reset the quests and changed them to schematics.

Woah woah, wait a sec there. All the weapons in RotW are items rather than schematics, and the quests are not repeatable? That's just retarded, I was planning to use the LD-1 or Explosive Shell Sniper as my main weapons, how the hell am I supposed to do that now? I had to sell my ADK to afford the ships I need to actually take part in the RotW quests, and now money-making has been reduced to it's current levels, Ill never make enough for another one.
These should be schemtics, or the quests should be repeatable once every two weeks.

Since it looks like a lot of these drops are better than currently crafted weapons, it would seriously hurt crafters who have current large inventories IMO. They have been whacked pretty hard as it is. Opening up schematics drops in a couple months does seem to be a good idea though as they will have had time to sell off their stock. just my 2 cents

If the devs dont change the current system, it really wont affect crafters at all. The vast majority of players only have one ADK, or no ADK at all, and these cool new weapons will wear out within a few weeks of hard use.

If you sold your ADK then you deserve to have your uber weapons break. Iam also a weaponsmith, why should I go out my way to get the best resources and enhancments only to find a dropped weapon has better stats? Who will I sell these weapons to? Why should I continue to craft? I under stand the 1/23984739247023874 legendary weapon but a quest anyone can do to beat crafted weapons is just lame. I will have to grab the actual stats of these weapons, It is easy to get most ranged weapons over 330 base dps

I haven't looked at all the weapons, but it seems some of them are CL30 with appropriate stats (the Proton Carbine being the exception). So hopefully, once people get caught up on the new system, we'll be able to craft better.

Will you crafters give the bleating a rest already? These are not "uber" weapons, they are mediocre, mainly usable for roleplay. Take your money-whoring elsewhere, you greedy crafter. See? Sterotypes are fun. Because I want to RP with an actual sniper rifle rather than a fecking heavy machinegun and because I think it's unreasonable that the mediocre sniper rifle I had to work my arse off to get isnt be replaceable means I must be a leet kiddie right? Gadon could use a couple happy pills but he has a point. Crafters wouldnt lose much at all if those items were available again after awhile. Since nearly every weapon or any other type of gear vender I see cators to the 'uber leet' sort, those who are doing these quests for these items probably aren't spending much at your venders anyway. And even if they whent to your venders, the least you could do is restock them so the stats are viewable. There are a couple of venders for different types to items I frequent that arent the 'biggest bestest most elitest' items but they're made well, give me what I need while they last, and are reasonable prices.
