Thread: BH Armor hunting Post CU

Hey guys, I have been hunting BH armor while I try to figure out this new combat system and have noticed something outrageous, Black Suns only spawn one time now! The good news is, they may have increased the drop rate, because I got 3pieces yesterday...but I was on for a while.
Has anyone looted BH armor schematics yet (if they even exist)?

Yeha, I noticed they didn't respawn as well. I haven't noticed a drop rate increase yet, but I haven't hunted them too hard. I hope you're right :-)

What template are you guys using to hunt these. I tried hunting them last year and it was a life and death struggle to kill just one of them with my MBH.

Man, you have been playing since last year and can't kill them? Before the CU these guys were push overs (well, what wasn't?)...
Anyway, right now in the CU I am Master Rfile/BH, with a touch of pistols...but I really don't know what I am doing yet...The assassins are only level 78, so they aren't that tough if you are level 80. Fighting 3 or so at a time is tough though.

How would a MBH/MPistoleer fare against them now?
Before CU with the right food and powerups they were easilysoloable. Assassins were time consuming and everything else was mid level difficult.

I would haveto disagree with most of the things posted here.
I have been hunting them on tarquinas. Killed 30 or more post CU. I have yet to get a single drop... Also I find them still in groups of 3 and respawn 2-3 times...

on scylla they're not dropping so far after about 35 killed. The spawns are really screwy. if there are two out when you get there.. one more will spawn after that and then the spawn is dead. So if you have a spawn of 2 you will get to kill 3 total and if you get a spawn of 3 you will get to kill a total of 4 and so on.

Where are they spawning now haven't found even 1 on yavin or endoryet any hints on where to find them?

Hmm, lets keep this alive. Before CU I had hunted for almost 7 weeks straight. I looted nearly 4 full suits of BH armor in that time. They used to be tough for MBH/Pistoleer, but last time I was on Yav PostCU and encountered a lone assassin on accident, I smoked him with no problem. Pre CU the Black Sun were he hardest thing out there. Now I fear that I will go through 3 bikes a night running my old hunting pattern due to the level of aggros and how everything targets your bike immediatley and everything seems to have magical ranged attacks. I will be dusting off the old BS hunting gear shortly, while I wait for weekends to get groups together to help me with Kashyyyk missions. It will be nice to NOT run into stupid invisible walls everywhere.

How are you managing to drop them ? I spotted some the other day on Yavin and they were all level 88's
