I have been tryin to take down some dragons, but everytime I get them to about 90% health they go int retreat mode and run away and regen really fast leaving me with no chance. Anyone else having this problem?

This seems to be a new feature to prevent obtuse amounts of kiting. They have a radius that if you cross, they start to retreat.

The trick is to find the radius, and not cross it. I set up my droid so I can see on the radar where the retreat point is so I won't cross the green dot on the map. The bigger the Krayt, the more likely it is to cross the bounds up on the ridges as well, adolescents are less likely to do this because their smaller frames don't cross these lines as often, but grands are probably the most frustrating.
