He says here's an extra trinket but nothing shows up in inventory. Did I just get a bugged or is this just misleading text?

i have had this happen on a few other quest givers.i am hoping that it is just misleading

Broken, probably, like many other rewards. No official word, and I have yet to hear of a CSR reimbursing or resetting. In other words, if you complete a quest and get no reward, you'r SOL.

After checking inventory carefully I noticed he had given me a plated necklace, no special stats either
