This thread is intended to help those seeking to make Recyclers

It should also answer several questions from any who do not know what they are





Basically they are a crafted tool that allows little bit of useless resources to be combined into larger bits of useless resources.


They are made from limited use schematics, they do require loot only componants




Full componant list:

ccb=cheap copper batteries

agitator motor

2 red wires

1 ccb


tumble blender

1 agitator motor

3 blue wire

2 ccb


ore

1 tumble blender

8 pulverizers


flora

1 agitator motor

1 feed tube

1 processor attachment

4 spinner blades


chem

1 tumble blender

1 feed tube


creature

1 agitator motor

1 feed tube

4 spinner blades

4 pulverizers


metal

1 small motor

4 heating elemants

Total 'loots' needed for all 5

1 processor attachment

8 ccb

1 small motor

3 feed tubes

4 heating elements

6 blue wires

8 red wires

8 spinner blades

12 pulverizers



Total Schems needed:

2 tumble blender

4 agitator motor

1 each of recycler

For someone (me) that hunts for recycler (and items), this is an excellent reference post... i'd 5 star you.. but well, you know...


Again, good job on this! I hope lots of people sticky this for future reference...

Nice guide goin here.


One point I would like to make though. Some of the schematics in the CU, at least a week or so ago when I was playing around in there, called for smelted metals. So, these recyclers may become more useful after the CU hits.

How about including the types/amounts of regular resources that are needed to craft these items as well? That would be amazing.

I will admit I did not think of including the 'resources' for two reasons:
the amounts required are very small
and the stats do not matter
..so anyone can get them extremely easy.


I will however add them in {soon as I jot them all down}


Is there anything else you see lacking, or is not clear?
I know it is fairly basic so I did not want to get to fancy {not like I could anyways}

Errm ... could somebody enlighten me what these recyclers are actually useful for? Of what I've read so far is that you can convert a resource into another resource with low stats (200). But why would somebody want to do this?

To get rid of those small chunks of metals, ores, hide, etc.which fill every crafter's inventory.

BTW, next patch (17) which is already on TC, will fix -again- the crafting process for the recyclers
