Thread: Multi-mod SEAs working differently now?

excellent.



For varification, simply because I don't like suprises when dealing with items worth tens of millions, if I were to have a Mibari belt with a +25 Pistol Speed AA already in it, and 2 remaining slots, and I were to obtain an AA with +25 Pistol Accuracy, +12 Pointless Skill, +8 Post-CU Nerfed Mod, and I applied it to the belt, the belt would then become +25 Pistol Speed, +25 Pistol Accuracy and one open slot, yes?


Just to be sure...

Alright .... Say if you have a Clothing Belt with 4 Sockets. Now you have a CA with 3 mods on there and drop it in this clothing belt. Now your clothing belt will only have 1 Socket left as you are correct each mod will take up one socket. As far as if you have a Belt with already 2 mods in it with 2 sockets left and a CA with 3 mods on it I am not sure which 2 it would take haven't tested it.

I wish they would just make the AA's and CA's only take up one space regardless of the number of mods... after all no matter how many mods a piece of armour has it still is just one peice of armour.

yeah, i kinda hate the new changes alot of my socket's have been filled up with useless crap.

I am hearing a few things about changes/improvements to the way in which SEAs apply now.


In the past, a multi-mod SEA (ie: +1 carbine speed, +2 carbine defense, +2 cover) would only apply the largest modifier when put into a slot, and if there was a tie, the first of the highest modifiers listed would be the only one applied (+2 carbine Defense in the previous example).


I am now hearing that multi-mod SEAs will apply all modifiers when put into a slot, with some conditions.


The first rumored condition I have heard is that only the *first* SEA applied to a multi-socket item will apply all of its mods.


The second rumored condition I am hearing is that each mod on a multi-moded SEA that is applied takes up 1 slot on an item. (ie- the 3 mod SEA I described earlier, when applied to a 4 socket item would have all 3 mods applied but leave only 1 open slot?)



Can anyone confirm or deny, or even point me in the direction of a thread that confirms/denies?


I'd hate to waste 2 or 3 multi-mod SEAs to play with these possibilities if it has already been tested.

Would be nice if the second SEA only applied its first-best mod... I'll have to go ahead and test this tohis weekend with some low-end SEAs

Incorrect, you would have +25 Pistol Speed, +25 Pistol Accuracy, and +12 Pointless Skill. and no empty slots.

can i put 2 of the same mods on one thing now? like a pair of +1 to spamming cnet on gloves and have gloves of +2 to spamming cnet?
