i picked one up..no condition, and i thought they took ca's, but it won't take one..do they take AA's or can they not be loaded with mods anymore?

They take AAs and they are now wearable by all professions. Before, Jedi were unable to wear them, because they were considered armor.

Newly crafted ones only have 100 condition and dont appear to count as armour anymore, i made one yesterday. Cant confirm if it takes either ca or aa though.

From my limited testing with them, post revamp ones can't be crafted with sockets, at least none of the ones I made as a respecced master armoursmith had any. The pre revamp ones used to take AAs and presumably still do. When wearing one my jedi can't use a sabre as she's wearing armour but she does still get the benefit of innate jedi armour while wearing one.

I noticed this. An armorsmith on my forum who had a huge stockpile of them on his vendor jacked the price up to like 4 million a belt now...sad thing is people are paying it. I think he did it cuz he absolutely loathes the CU...seriously.

Odd my Jedi still can use powers and saber while wearing one with no issues

i can confirm that they cant be made with socets anymore even those i had in crates lost their slots, but, those i hade unpacked still have the slots and same goes for the mabari armorwear shirts
