Yea faster up the hills for sure, and garages have repaired mine to full from disabled 3 times so far, so I didn't need to buy a repair kit that was going for the price of the barc itself.

Well, I wouldn't count on them being repairable at garages for long, why would they introduce repair kits if that was the case? To answer your question, the combination of being repairable from disabled coupled with the speed makes them worth it. Also,as in my case where Istupidlygot the DDL for all three of my toons, to get the BARC I would have to go spend $29. Translate that into SWG credits on ebay and you have a price of 10 million.

BTW Can they not be stored when they get disabled? I see disabled ones all over the place as if you can't store them like you can a disabled swoop.

You can store them like normal when they are disabled. Mine got smashed by an angry rancor earlier, so I have first-hand knowledge.

Yeah, surprised the heck out of me when a rancor romped on my swoop the first few days of the CU. I'm all for making things challenging but they should tone down the roll on it so at least it's not 100% chance of being disabled if the MOB is within so many meters. I've also noticed it seems to be an area effect where you are meleeing the MOB and it decides to whack your speeder while aggro'd on you.

My av-21 seems to be somewhat faster than the barc, which that doesn't bother me. The barc is faster than a swoop and fast going up hills to add.

i wouldnt say there is a great difference in the speed of swoop/Av-21s/BARCs unitll the hills thats is.

But i find my BARC to be very quick from standstill to max speed.

oh and the speed doesnt bother me much anyway, cos the BARC and AV-21 are the best looking vehicles by far!

Or maybe those repair kits aremeant to be usedif your BARC gets disabled when you are outside of a city somewhere.
