Thread: Ancient Krayt drops & Gorax drops

Ancients. Do they drop anything exclusive? or do all the krayts pretty much drop the same things, pearls,tissues,scales,triggers,mado interframs. anything i left out?
Gorax. What does this guy drop? I got a trigger off him. he drops teeth for something right? any details on what he drops and what the uses are.

Gorax drops Gorax Bone shards with varying stats and they are used for Ranged Weapons

I don't believe that the Ancients drop anything better that any of the other krayts right now. I'm pretty sure that pearl drops are all "good" at the moment. I'm not a Jedi and could be wrong about this though. To the best off my knowledge they all drop pearls and tissues. As far as Gorax,they drop shards used in kenetic weapons. If your looking to make uber weapons though I recomend sticking to bounties and looting power cells and cassings as they reduce the SAC of you weapons. If your just looking for something fun to do and get the badges though, they are fun and can easily be soloed with your template. Just root snare and run in circles.
A tip for hunting Gorax is useing a targeting macro and driving in a slower speeder. Make sure to dump your targeting macro before engaging them though. I found this out one night when a second spawned and ended up taking them both on. If the first hadn't been under 1/4 HAM I doubt I could have won as my action was about dead. Another thing I found handy was using a cobat droid for all those anoying times you "cant see target". The droid won't do much as far as damage but will slow the regeneration rate till you can get a shoot off.
I prefer to take Canyon krayts as they are easy to kill and drop rate seem to be the same as the larger ones. You can fight more in less time.

ok thx for the info. wasn't sure about the drops. Yeah i really dont have too much ofa problem with thoses guys. I'm able to solo Gorax, matter fact its funny you mention having 2 spawn on you. haha i had 4 chasing at once the other night. 3 just gave up chase and de spawned while i soloed the original.Kraytes i'm able to solo up to lvl 86. (stright up solo) that is. lvl90 and ancients i knock down all day with out any player help aswell

But thx for the info guys, im gonna have to stock up on some of that gorax bone (pause).

Gorax spawns in the desert part of Endor, forget which direction that is. If you're hunting gorax for the shards to get waepons made, your better off with the reinforced casings, they have an SAC modifier and its easier to get higher damage on them.
