Dear SOE:
Please increase the rate and quality of loot drops. Although you probably feel that you are managing inflation or some other game mechanic, you are not helping game enjoyment. Since the game has become one based entirely on grinding missions and creatures in combat, there should be some incentive to engage in that grind which transcends XP. This is particularly true for characters that are non-fs and just want to enjoy the universe.
Right now, only the Aa'kuan caves give you guaranteed loot drops. By restricting the loot drops gained from NPC missions on core planets, you've essentially forced people into AFK camping situations on known drop areas on Lok, Endor, and Talus. You have otherwise created a very negative circumstance for those wishing to actually play the game. Hardcore gamers do not suffer, as we have multiple accounts and know how to work the system in such a way as to get what we need to keep our core characters strong and up to speed. Some players at the top of the food chain, who live this as fully and with as much time as their own life, go beyond that. This creates a very unbalanced situation in PVP situations. Thus, newer players to the CL80 space are less inclined to go up against another player with tricked out 4 socket per armour piece filled with skill enhancers. They probably don't even know why they are losing.
Loot used to drop liberally. It should again. This will make the playing field more even and get people out of the camping mode.

i'm finding good stuff everyday, or at least i consider it good, is there something in particular you want and aren't getting?? i don't look for them, but hear all the pearl and crystals stink now, that i'll go along w/ if thats the case. but if its only boss sea's you're not getting, they are too easy to get in my opinion. you just have to look outside the caves for them.
i will add that campers do ruin everything.

Armor and clothing attachments. Rug and gong type components. I can get crystals and pearls easily on Lok or Tat. It's the AA / CA situation that is frustrating.

dude, before signing a pointless nothing-going-to-come-of petition like this....ask ppl who sell aa's and ca's where they get them.

no devs, only looting ya gotta fix is allowing the select, prem, flawless pearls to drop again....

I just got 10 AA's/CA's today, and I wasn't grinding some real good loot spot. I just killed a bunch of Stormtroopers.

I'm fine with drop rates, I get plenty of good stuff hunting, its just not all atachments

Question for some of u that think loot drop rate are fine. Why people sell crystals, pearls and SEAs for millions ? They're expensive because they are rare, aren't they ?

SEAs are a myth, I never bought any jedi SEAs and i still dominate people who have 100million worth =/

because they don't drop AT ALL. you can get crappy ones very easily, bought like 20 and haven't had 1 good tune. pearls/crystals are a different issue, they are bugged has nothing to do with other loot drop rates. and its all based on luck, last night i did 4 BH missions got an SEA and 2 sets of advanced scopes all which sold very nicly. today i did 43 BH missions and got nothing better then armor schematics.
