ok ive seen a screenie and it reads to me like you can apply the kit to an item and then remove it again if you decide you want to protect a different item without having to destroy anything....the decription mentions using the radial menu to remove it
im looking for someone who has used one to confirm this and also a couple other things.....
if i pup a weapon before applying the kit....does the pup stay there permanatly?
is the number of uses on a dot affected?

I put my decay kit on my scythe, unpowered atm, i'll let you know if someone doesn't let you know on it, but I bet that they thought about dots & pups. I believe it just stops the condition from going down, nothing else.
Heres what happened when i got the kit though...
I dropped the scythe in the deed & used the radial menu on the deed to apply the kit, it pushed out the weapon & the description says it won't decay from use. The deed was still there but went poof soon after (not sure if intended but prob. is). I did test the weapon & after using specials & reg. attacks on a nest. It was still the same condition.
Problem is i still get the old options on radial on the scythe, no option to removed anti-decay from it. Not sure how i can remove it yet, i just logged for the night & will try tomorrow.

yes, the only way to get back the no decay kit is to destroy the item you applied it on

yes i heard that too but if you read the description when you exam the kit it says something along the lines of 'if oyu change your mind you can remove the kit using an option in the radial'

UPDATE:
Anti-Decay Kits and Lightsabers
The anti-decay kit is supposed to work with lightsabers but currently does not. We are in the process of fixing this bug. If you have an anti-decay kit and wish to use it on your lightsaber you will be able to do so once this fix is published to the live servers.
If you already used your kit on a different item, you can destroy the item to get the anti-decay kit back and use it on your lightsaber once this fix is live. DO NOT DESTROY THE ANTI-DECAY KIT
