I'm thinking of using my anti-decay kit on my best carbine - but my question is if I put the kit on it does it basically make it invicible? Is the weapon still able to decay in ANY form at all or is it completely locked at it's condition at the time of the merge between the kit and gun.

Any replies would be much appreciated-

PS. I looked for awhile and could not find a firm answer on this - but I am sorry if this is the millionth post about this very topic - I also cannot search because "there are too many searches going on" so therefore it makes it very difficult to see if this was addressed in another forum/thread.

yes it cant be decayed by use dying or anything. also u can use power ups with no worries now too. i pu it on my 213-398 max stun batton no power up

its 230-460 p up'ed

but is it true that if you delete the item it's on that it will return to your inventory? i've seen that posted on here 100 times or more, lol

Yes you get the Deed back. I asked a CSR and he said that you WILL get your Deed back when you destroy the item.

The kit basically multiplies all decay done to the item by 0. This includes decay from cloning (which doesn't apply to weapons, but figured I'd throw it in) or usage. Armor doesn't decay from absorbing damage, weapons don't decay from damage dealt (or specials used, or powerups used, or however weapon decay is calculated).

Whatever condition the item is at when you apply the kit will remain the condition forever. You could have a 1/12000 weapon, and it'll never wear out. Any limited use effects (DoTs) do still decrease with usage, though.

You can regain the kit (to apply to a different item) by destroying the invulnerable item.
