Thread: Loot+Quest Mob = Bad (AFK campers rampent!)
I understand where SOE was going with this, but it's such a bad idea. Why on earth would you make mobs you have to kill for a quest give a wanted loot drop. Atleast on my server this has lead to groups of 8 AFK macroing the location. It makes doing some quests practicly impossible. I say allow quest mobs to simply give the quest and have another mob drop the loot so that these afk macroers can grief themselves and not people trying to enjoy game experience. I mean realy waiting hours upon hours for a spawn to not get credit for a kill and thus having to wait longer is just insane. I realize this was in good intent, hey lets give the people a nice item for killing this quest mob, but this has just become an epidemic. Outcry to figure out something to fix this. The quest may not be hard, but getting the actual quest is insane because of CAMPARS ugh! It's just getting so old. Something must be done.
