Japanese SWG shutting down
I imported a Japanese Collector's Edition and added the key to my account for the extra 3 goggles that are really cool.
Will having the Japanese key added on to my existing US account affect me in any way?
An official response would be most appreciated>

No wonder why the servers are so empty... and why I *never* saw anyone on mustafar :/ I guess I'll ignore the toon I was grinding up (well... abusing respec on). Well that sucks :/
I was wondering about those goggles too... they look awesome.

it should not mater at all. the goggles are in the US server .tre files and you have them in your invantory as an item. only thing the japan servers will do is go offline to where you cant play on them.

They dont exist on the US/Europe servers though. He/She's wonder if their money is going to waste for these items, or if they'll become available to those who paid for them on the normal servers.

knowing sony and how they eff me over all the time, nope. You blew your money. I would wait for an official answer (though you probably won't get one).

yes they do. they are items in game but the only way to get them is Via the japan special edition box. or haxing an npc that has one

I have these and I got mine from the US version of the Special Edition. Have had mine for over 2 years now.

I have those too. My account was initially a US SE Edition key.
However about a month ago, I imported a Japanese Special Edition box with 3 completely different goggles as the reward (Tiggs posted we could add Japanese keys to our accounts). Having a Japanese Key on my US account - will I be effected?
That was my question.
The goggles are in the .tre files, I understand.
But the actual account status/maintenance has had a Japanese key added to it. Hence my slight worry and question
