someone mentioned in a random whine that miners boots protect against lava, is this true? (server i play on is down so i cant test )

I have the miner suit, but it doesn't seem to protect me at all even though it says it will.. I'm not really sure maybe it will get fixed.

I have the suit also... came to an unfortunate death trying to walk on lava with it on

the only thing i dont have are the boots... guess ill try it again when i do get them... /preps for cloning

I read somewhere in here that while surveying on the planet, you pick up wounds; However, if you have the suit on, it protects you from gaining the wounds. I haven't tried it myself, but someone posted that. I'll see if I can dig it up....
