After a lot of sodding around I've finally completed the Jedi ruins quest (It's not that it's hard, more that I started the Sith quest by mistake & I'm a rebel so I had to wait until I could find an imp to kill the last jedi for me lol, /salute Eabat), so I've now got a nice shiny sith holocron whispering it's dark secrets at me from the depths of my inventory, question I wanna ask is what happens if I 'use' it since they changed the jedi system? I'm not a jedi, nor am I glowy, will it tell me the profs I should have mastered under the old system or just do nothing? Also I understand jedi can use holo's now to replenish their force, if I use it now (whilst not jedi) will I still be able to do this with it if I ever go jedi? Can a rebel jedi use a sith holo or do I have to go over to the dark side?

Any advice people can give me would be greatly appreciated, I'd hate to lose out later just cos I couldn't wait to find out what 'use' does.

And the holo type don't matter for Jedi

If you are not a jedi it says "The Holocron hums briefly" But it does nothing for you, and it not used up. If you are a jedi, it hums, heals all your force, and disappears.

if u 'use' it while still not jedi then it will give u a message along the lines of 'the holocron hums and does nothing'....and no u wont lose it...nothing will change...and u can do it as many times as u want with the same result
