Thread: Anyone else having bad slicing?

I know that the slicing percentages have been severly dropped, but my master smuggler friend, sliced 3 weapons for me, in a row, and i got 4% slices, then he goes and slice's one thing for another person and they got a !9% slice, and the next guy got 18%. But, when i got my Necrosis Nightblade sliced i got a 14% slice, so i was happy, none of you probably care, but here is something you can laugh at or sympathize with.

it depends on how close your weapon is to the max stats for that weapon class. 4% for an elite weapon is around right, just be glad it wasnt -4%. Necrosis loot tends to be weaker than the elite of their class, so you're likely to get better slices on them.

Yea, my slices haven't been so good, it's because most of the weapons I slice are near the max already, there have been a few I've tried to slice and it wouldn't let me cause it was already at the max

o, thanks, i didn't know that, i do know thought that weapons cna't be sliced if they are powered up

The weapons can be sliced if they have a power up on them. The power up just gets removed and you have to put a new power up on it. I just would like to see the supposed smuggler updates. It would at least give us smugglers a little more flexibility especially with the current slicing handicap. I just don't know if it will ever happen. i have heard about fixing smuggler since the begining and still waiting. Sorry, just ranting a little bit.

Supposedly we Smugglers are getting the slicing changes within the next few weeks. We are hoping our skill will have some basis on the results, and we're hoping we will get to pick options that will influence speed and/or damage. Then, we can give our clients what they want, and our level of skill will give a better result.
So, if you have an uber or high end weapon, hold on to it for a couple weeks and keep an eye on the Dev Tracker. I know I will be!
