Thread: So about the BARC Speeder

Is it all what it is cracked up to be, I mean I heard that an AV-21 is better than it, but I was just curious, can it be compared to anything else speed wise while riding on land and going up hills? Thanks in advance

The BARC speeder is supposedly the fastest speeder in the game, plus u can repair it for FREE and even when its disbaled. plusit looks hot as hell

yeah the whole free thing dosnt really matter to me i mean its like 5k everytime nothing bad. but ur supposed to be able to fix it when its disabled aty a garage. if not contact CSR with a ticket. its been repairing on and off

in order to repair it if its disabled you need a BARC repair tool... and those things are going for 50-100k last i checked

I don't think you are. I think being able to repair it at the garage is a bug.

my friend contacted CSR saying his speeder wouldnt repair and they told him they cant do anything at the moment please type /bug blah blah standard response

i did some tests with a guildie on this. it's pretty much the same speed as a swoop on flat ground. but it's A LOT faster on the hills......there's pretty much NO slow-down when going up uneven ground.
you do need to pay to have it repaired, but as i understand it there are repair kits for if it is ever disabled; i have a guildie that is a master artisian......so i won't have to pay the $$$$$ that i'm sure they will be going for.
havn't tested it against an av-21 yet.....so can't say how it compares speed-wise.
and the only other thing i can say about it is: it's incredibly AWESOME!!!!!not happy about having to pay the extra $29.99 to get it.......but i can't say that i'm disappointed in the prize.

on the note of fixing it if it is disabld, i belive right now there is a bug that if yoou pull it out when at a garage it automatically repairs to full condition for free

At thoes prices I'd buy 10 of them, On Kettemoor the repair kits I've seen on vendors are all going for 500k or more.

do you have to use the /claim to get it once your in game?
