Does the luck bar you can unlock for your jedi in the village give a you better chance in getting good loot or just looting more creds?

i've heard it just gives better credits. but with the loot screwed up who really knows

one of my friends swears that he gets more loot now he has luck.. hes getting around 8 attachments an hour from akkuans while the rest of us are lucky to get 4 so i gota say i believe it does add a bonus to the role of the dice that determines loot

I've seen a small increase in how often I loot items with all 4 of the Luck boxes, as well as looting more credits at a timethan I used to.
I don't think it effects the quality of the drop at all (I still get a lot of clothes and cdef blasters 
), but I do get more loot.

I have heard the "Luck" tree does give better loot. I know when I was a WS, I would have a jedi visit me after a night of hunting on Lok with wep enhancments 3/4 points higher than a regular combat professtion would loot.
I think it works.
