Hunting at night,Is this possibly the worst thing in the game that effects everyone no matter if your a surveyor or a jedi knight. Although we all have a "personal light"it has a puny rangeconsidering many aspects of combat involve ranged battles maxing to a distance of 65 meters and for avoiding mobs at close range its also next to useless,So what canwe do about it? I say we should have Night Vision goggles in this game by now.It makes little sence to me that in an age of droids,Spaceships andglowstick swingers that there isntan implamentationto enhancing the veiwing distance beyond the 5 meters within low light situations.

I would really like to see some effort involved in making nightvision goggles a reality.I mean put a battery life on them like droids currently have ,make them decay if you'd think they become a onehit crafted item, Just try to make it happen.

Depends on the planet IMHO, some are darker at night than others.

Totally agree, maybe make it Artisan crafted? DE maybe? Dont care as long as I dont need to push my brightness to 100%.

When I first started this game I thought It didnt work with my graphics card because it was nighttime and I couldnt see anything past the city i started in... I was trying to kill fynocks completely blind.

I remember night vision goggles of some kind being a big request back in beta but the Devs kept saying it wasn't possible with the technology they have. Well I've seen quite a few things added to the game that they maintained were not possible due to technological limitations since then. I would love some night vision goggles.

They can do a personal light, why not just have it code as goggles like the special edition ones, and then everything is like it was day, but green tinted... doesnt sound too hard

Turn up the brightness in the options menu. It helps.

It's an analogy game!!!!

your inability to adjust your monitor to see the crap 2" in front of your toon... to all the crap that's wrong with this game... is like:

the power of the Sun to the power of 1 duracell 1.5v battery.

I mean there's crap to complain about... and this isn't it.

You can always switch it back. I turn it up when hunting at night on Dath or Endor, then back to normal when anywhere else.
