Once you use the kit on an item is that it? Gone for good?
I've heard some people saying that if you delete the item you get the kit back. Is that true, or is it gone forever?
Sorry for the noob question.

From what I have read, if you destroy the item the kit was placed on, the item comes back to your inventory. that has been stated on the forums by one of the nice little folks with the "SWG" symbol by their names, so I guess its true.

Knowing for sure would be great before I lose it forever or something.

I can confirm this does indeed work, didit with PSG the other day. I deleted the PSG I had the kit on and it immediately appeared back in my inventory. Didn't wanna be the first one to try this out either, but just held my breath and hoped for the best.

You are my new best friend! I misread the explanation on the kit and thought I could pull the item out whenever...almost died when I realized it was stuck on a barely-decent scatter pistol....
Thanks alot

I tried this on TC because I was too worried about blowing up my ADK on live... Here was the result, so you can see for yourselves:

I only get 4 gig of bandwidth a month, so please dont go overboard. And if you can't see the video, then I dunno what's wrong. I encoded it with the codec stated above, and it plays back just fine for me.
