Thread: GDKs dropping normal segments/scales

Ok, I just killed to Giant Dune Kimos and looted scales and segments from it, no Giant Dune Kimo scales. Has anyone else seen this??? Is this a loot nerf??? Help me lol.

You don't always get scales from GDKs. Heck many times you don't get anything at all.

I don't think it's a nerf. I was under the impression that kimogila scales and segments were normal drops from these mobs in addition to the RIS scales. I hunted some last night and out of 5 kills 3 of them dropped nothing, 1 dropped segments and the second to last one dropped some RIS scales.

They're meant to get your hopes up and piss you off when you find out that "you have complelty looted the corpse of all items" means you didn't get the GDK scales.
Regular kimos drop the segs and scales.

I know the GDKs don't always drop RIS loot, but in the many that I have previously killed, I haven't seen a regular Kimo scale drop from them before. Just wondering about it. Cheers.
