Just posting a question:
Wouldn't it be wonderful if you could group/merge several items together into 1 new item? Example: I have 3 table's, 4 chairs, and several small items as decorations on the table's. If it was possible to merge them into one drop, I wouldn't need to place them again separetly when or if i had to move it for some reason.
Other example: Several players have created truly works of art with candles (Rebel and Imperial Logo's, for example) and it probaly took them a lot of time, sweat and tears to place it all in the right order/place.
That way one could also create a whole new market consisting of user created artworks. One could even make it a new ability for architects or artisans?
Just ponder about the possibility's .....

As an artist by trade, I'd LOVE to see this in-game! Sculpture! Interior decoration / place-setting. Man this is a great idea. If I was a correspondent or something, I'd put this in a suggestion e-mail to a Dev....

Sounds like an awesome idea to me as well, but I doubt if anything like this would be implimented honestly.

seeing this reminded me of a question i had along these lines, maybe some of you know the answer. I am currently one aurillian sculpture piece away from getting the sculpture completed. When I have all 4 pieces, does it combine into one sculpture piece or does it just have to be placed properly to show it off as it was intended? I saw one once that was completed, and it looked to be still in 4 seperate pieces but not sure.

Great idea really. I saw some of those artworks done by candles they were perfect andI imagined how hardthe creatorworked for that artwork.. I know placing stuff is a pain with all /move commands

It doesn't combine...it remains 4 pieces that when dropped in one spot, make up the sculpture.

thx for the reply. was afraid of that..well at least it seems like it places itself properly, that's a plus. was hoping it would combine tho. storage space is a precious commodity.
