I saw a few of these Black Sun Medallions for sale on Eclipse for 80k. Was just curious what the medallions are for.

You can get one of these medallions for doing a mission or set of missions

from an NPC. These medallions are not worth 80k, so buyer beware. These

medallions may be equipped, but will not appear on your character as if he

or she was wearing the medallion.

I havent done this mission in such a very long time, but if memory serves

me right you can get the mission from an NPC in the Coronet Hotel.

Thanks for the info! I looted one of these on Tatooine over a year ago. Noticed it didn't show up too.

Criminal Missions give them out as a transfer item.

Any Criminal can give these out as a mission mission i used to do was from the guy right outside Bestine Star Port....you can get dark jedi mediallions too and used to be able to get the loud speakers
