If you currently had the plain version of SWG loaded on your computer and was able to obtain the collectors eddition, would loading it delete your character you already have or would the collectors items just show up in your inventory?

it would be a different account so you dont delete your char. you will just use the new login/password to play the new char.

are the goggles tradeable? i hope are if not i hope there is some way of tansfering them.

no they arent tradeable 
there was an exploit that you could put it in your droid and transfer (or trade, cant remember which) it to whoever and they would get them. Same thing was done with lightsabers lol....
Dont ask me how, but ive seen them in one house b4, ill see if i can get a screenie of it if people dont believe me.

nope they fixed it a long time ago, only way to get some now is to get a SE of the game, which i dont believe they are making anymore, and if you did, youd need to make another account to get them, but they cant be traded, so its a waste of money

when the exploit was around you could trade them
then at reset or something the "owner" (person with the CE) would get them back

I have mine gathering dust in the bank. I never use them,They look horrible. If i could sell them i could.
EDIT: They cant be placed in houses. Only in bank and player inventory.
