Well you can also loot your own. Ive looted 4 doing black sun duty missions in space.

quit complaining, devs don't set prices, players do.
if other players pay 2.5mil-3mil for it, it's obviously worth that much to them and several others.
some items are supposed to be rare, if you want one to slice your weapon, go out and earn it. if sh!t is hand fed to you what fun is that?

Payed 1m for mine, but that was cheapest in the galaxy by 1.5m. And to boot, my max dmg on the gun I used it on stayed the same and just min went up. /flail

I would not worry too much. I checked out TC-Bria last night, and I was looting the high end smuggler tools left and right. The prices will come down.

They really don't seem to be rare. I've been giving them away on Test Center. I even pulled an Illegal Core Booster out of the Debris Pile at the Marauder Stronghold. It's just like everything else, though. Players will sell them for whatever price others will pay.

Just sell/auction the booldy things , why bother slicing!! , if there are muppets who are willing to pay that much , im happy to take their money.

They have to get the "toys" from somewhere. You can go loot them yourself if you like.

Can anyone tell me why they need to sell this stuff on vendors for 2.5 million? Really? How much extra dammage can you get with it? Are the Devs trying to improve smugglers activity? No way. I saw one on the Auction Forum go for 3 million? What? To get your weapon sliced? Devs are screwing up the economy and making it impossible to get decent equipment. Rare drop maybe? Impossible drop so that they are worth that kind of money? Come on. Cant believe thay would nerf the slicing so bad as it is now. Does a good slice make that much of a difference? Maybe, but a really good weapon goes for 500k and the 7% damage slice now adds 3 million for that? Out of control and they know it. Good luck getting a decent slice. Unless your loaded and want to pay 10 million for your weapons. they need to start a rebate program like they have with automoblies. Buy this illegal core booster get 2 million cash back and we'll let you make payments on it too.
Come on Devs, what where you thinking>?
