Yes, its been posted many times, but none of the tips ive read seem to work! Ive been trying to find gray viewscreens, but none of the npcs that were said to drop them have. Ive tried Binyare pirates on talus.... nothing but regular printer supplies(excluding all types of viewscreens) and Valarians, which dropped some Valley View Paintings and tan viewscreens, but no gray ones.
Any other tips for which npcs drop them? Or is it completley random?

i looted a ton off binayre hooligans. make sure they are hooligans. Just outside Dearic. Found a never ending spawn there.

I found about 15-20 during phase 4 off the Sith npcs, also droidekas and nym's droidekas drop them.

I've only managed to loot three since the "loot" publish.
Jawa.
Scavanger (part of the Tatooine spawns with Scavanger, Nomad and the other NPCs).
Master Thief on Dantooine.
Never got a grey datapad off hoodlums, only orange. Maybe it's a less common drop from them? Or things changed?
If you are on Bria, I still have one that's not used sitting in my safe deposit.

My friend just ground through slicing a few weeks ago and got roughly 5 or more from containers. They may be a good place to find them.

ive only ever had onbe, and it made the Coro Skyscraper when i put it in the viewscreen printer loot kit

only time ive ever got any was out of locked containers and storage bins at POIs

Well just to satisfy your curiosity I looted one at the talus poi of binyare mercs- i dont recall whether or not it was a hooligan. Im guessing its just random off npcs just like the old junk loot kits

I'd like to bump this thread up, and ask if anyone has looted any of these anytime recently. Or heck if anyone has one they want to sell send me an ingame email on Bfin. I am bored right now and am trying to figure out if this broken and seemingly useless stuff can be turned into something interesting.

i looted a grey viewscreen from a Black Sun guy in Rori doing the secrets of syren quest.

/bump still looking for options. I need to go and finish the syrens quest, has it gone to four? I must have missed it. Is it finally finished?
