Thread: Unbalanced Factional Loot
The thing is, the Stormies in question are the 'old school' ones, 'GK-132' or what ever. The new ones "An elite whatever" dont seem to drop half as well and its pretty muchthe same with rebel ones.

if it's holo's and SEA's you're after, you're going about it the wrong way. there are very specific places and mobs where these items drop. one happens to be high end imperial troops, but there are other locations and mobs dropping an assload of holocrons, and SEA's. if it is to master the profession ofloothore you wish, seek the knowledge and experience of one before you. no, seriousely though, if you're after specific things, you just gotta know where to look.
i totally agree, you cant really go asking a csr to change the game, the drops, etc just cuz your not really finding what your looking for....
-and the factional perks have NEVER been equal.....i dont know how long youve been playing or how long youve been imperial, but i remember when
solo groups were the only way tomake money, but it was a pain to get in one.....well, all the imps had to do was whip out there at-st, insta solo group.....
...and im not saying they didnt haveto work for the at-st, but its not that hard to stockpile faction for one
and thats just naming one instance....
-you just haveto research what your looking fora bit more, and stick with what works, holocrons dont ever drop like candy out ofa pinata, even if you are rebel
its stilla crappy ratio
Thank you S-H-U-D, u gave me a reference.
yes i'm noob, 100 days in the game but i have managed pretty well... lvl80... FS... fat bank account.. yeah... i just post this because i recently turned my attention to holocrons and i havent been very successful in looting this items, even from elite mobs around a rebel base close to Dant IO.

im imperial and i dont care
your comment wasuseless and disrespectful... my post are for thoughts that will lead ppl (and me) to a better solution... not for your bragging because "i'm the jedi master defender/DWB front runner, blah blah... "... leave that comment for the kindgarden. If you dont care about the solution dont be a part of the problem. Period.
change to rebel if you want to loot them, plain and simple
i hate when people come to the forums to whine and cry because something isnt fair

Hello all, i place this message so my fellow imperial players speak out loud about this issue and maybe Devs will take note about this.
i been reading about the holocron, CA's and furniture drops from our imperial stormtroopers and i wonder WHY we cant loot the same from the rebel troops. This is most annoying because rebels lootvery good CA's (many of them jedi CA's), blue couch ( from our STs ) and holocrons(from our generals and Dark troopers)... while their counterparts: Rebel sith hunters, dark troopers and regular troops dont drop anything better than crapy EE20 (looks like boba fetts carbine). I killed several high ranking rebels and all i looted is crapy weapons, 1 holocron and 1 ONION!!!!
So why devs give rebel such a good loot while we (imperial) have to chase rebel surface marshalls just to get holocrons? Are our troops better paid? no wonder rebels players attack so much imperial troops and our planetary presence is so low!!!!! ...maybe just CSR-Norm is the only imperial dev (thank you for visiting us in Corbantis).... maybe there is another imperial dev or neutral dev that will say "uhmm, we might have to fix this".
Please, i post this so all can share our thoughts (rebel and imperial players), my respects always to our fellow Rebel players but we need balance.
thank you.
PS: Please dont flame my thought, if i'm mistaken state your ideas in a repectful manner and excuse my poor english. Thank you again.
Don't kill "several." Kill hundreds, thousands, even, before deciding what does and does not drop. There is a common belief that good loot falls from just a few kills--it takes many, many, many RL hours to acquire good loot. It's extremely boring most of the time, but it's like playing the lottery--you've got to play a lot if you expect to win anything at all.
