I have a couple pieces of pre-cu BH armor and they are wearable, but stats are junk. I have the option to "dismantle" it. Is this the first step for converting it to mando?

it just converts it into POST CU BH armor which is used in Mando. The crafted stuff cannot be used to create mando

Now crafted bh armor schematics can be loot in bh npc missions...

I have no reason to deal with you so my carabine will do it for me.

I have a question about my BH armor. I'm pretty new to the CU, took some time off after it was implemented and am just now getting back into the game. Why does my old BH armor say "Crafted BH armor". I dont understand this, as I looted it all myself and ithas sat in my house for a while. I'm sure this has been explained elsewhere, but I could not find any reference tot he change. Anyone know why my armor's name has change? Or why it says it can't be used to craft mando?

The new armor you loot form Black Sun is for mando crafting only. I think the name is different on the newly looted. But I don't really have an answer to why it's called crafted.

Pre-CU BH armor can be converted into a component to use for making Mandolorian Armor. Click on armor and there should be an option on the radial menue.

They changed it to crafted when CU came because only crafted BH armor can be worn, also they are bring in BH Armor schematics that are lootable from highend Boss NPC Marks for Publish 21. These schematics can be given to an AS to carft for you and customize for your hunting use. (The soon to be Crafted BH Armor w/ pub 21 can not be used to make Mando Armor were as your pre-cu crafted BH armor and post-cu looted can be.)
