Thread: These mandolorian things for smuggler im looting from krayts...
i found that vendors usually sell these from lowest of 10k per up to 250k per....keep in mind these are for slicing, so if you want to contribute to outrageous slicing prices, sell them high....personally, i keep the ones i loot for when i need them, then you just give them to the slicer

If I was a smuggler, I wouldn't buy them for more than 20k. Slicing prices are prohibitively high nowadays, so I'd imagine most smugglers wouldn't want to buy them. Plus, the drop rate seems pretty good. However, the prices on my server are so inflated, who knows what they'd go for...
right, and if your gonna sell them for higher, its usually the ppl who want their slices done who will buy them, not the smugglers....and if the prices on your server get too high, the slicer with the slicing tools ON HAND will go waay down, and you will haveto go runaround to find the part, wich is a pain in tha a$$..
The people who want slices don't buy the part, they generally just buy the slice. Smugglers will need to purchase the part or loot it themselves in order to use it in a slice. The cost of the component will factor into the cost of a slice. If they buy it for really high, they'll need to charge high for the slice. Many people will just say "Nevermind" if some smuggler says "I can improve your damage by 30 points for 150k credits!". It's just not worth it.

lol, do you really think smugglers just run around looking for slicing supplies?...definitely not, so when they dont have any, what do you think there gonna say?
they are gonna say, go find the parti need and ill slice for x amount...so yea, the ppl who want the slice ususally either buy the item or have saved it cuz they know they are gonna want a slice...i understand that smugglers have most stuff on hand but for the top level slices, its not as common.
oh, and 30 points of damage for 150k isnt crazy, obviously you dont pvp too much, but every single point of damage that you have over your opponent is key, come over to bloodfin and pvp some.

Have you actually ever PvPed? Seriously. Because if you've had, you'd know that just doing 30 more points of damage than the guy you're fighting doesn't secure a win at all.
What about their armor? What kind of damage are they doing (Kinetic, Energy) and how does that compare to your armor? How they use their specials? What foods/spices they use? Whether they have doctor buffs or not? How they manage their action? If they have heals?
Maybe you should go out and play a while... 30 more points of damage isn't enough to decisively shift a battle onto your side. It might help... by 1%! But other than that, you've got a lot more factors than you're thinking about in there.
HAHAHA, cmon, it sounds like you would argue with yourself if there was nobody else to do it with
i never said doing 30 pts of damage more will secure a win, i said that gives you an advantage, and EVERY SINGLE ADVANTAGE COUNTS in pvp..
i have played a while actually, too...since launch, and ive learned to not argue with kids like you, specially on forums and in game.Maybe you should take some time off and realize your arguing on a forum, rofl.....so i guess this means you win?......
btw, bloodfin is the uber pvp server, so you go back to ahazi and tell your friends to come on over to the fin, then well talk

Actually specials multiply the damage so yes 30 more max damage on a weapon would make a fairly big difference.
