The guards drop trando barrels and jellyfish holos and some other junk that is mostly useless. Also the Giant Wookie(forgot name) drops the wookie toothpick, a huge axe!

Wookiee Toothpick = Executioner's Hack with GOOD stats.
The size of the ax is dependent on the size of the player, or NPC using it, so wookiees will use larger Toothpicks than humans or bothans.
Edit: Wookies also drop the Kashyyyk Spiritblade (a very nice One handed Curved Sword variant)
Trandoshans also drop Trandoshan Stun Sticks (stun batons) and Trandoshan Laser Rifles (advanced laser rifle)

It's mainly the guys in back room at the end that drop... gaurds drop sometime but guys in back drop more often... the Watch Commander and Scalelords for trandos and the Battleleader and Commando for wooks

thank you all for your info i also found that the guards dropped some kinda trando carbine that had a range of 50m cant remember what regular rangeis on a carb but it seemed high
