yes, but the scale has statsis NOT GDK scale. Giant Dune Kimo Scale is the name of the non-stats one.

I've looted numerous GDK scales -- and I've been very careful to only kill Giant Dune Kimoglia's. I've noticed that mostly I get scales that have NO stats and look totally different from the ones that have +health stats. The ones that have stats actually just say "Kimoglia Scales" in the description but the ones that do NOT have stats say "Giant Dune Kimoglia Scales". This is all very confusing and not consistent with the creature you're killing.

Can the AS's use only the ones that have stats? That is, are the ones with no stats totally worthless?

both are of great values to AS. GDK scale is one of the major components of RIS, so it's valued even higher than usual kimo scale is.a piece of GDK scaleis currently worth around 300k-400k in all servers.

Interesting though -- every scale I have is from a "Giant Dune Kimoglia". I've never killed any of the other Kimo dragons because I knew they were a waste.

So this single mob, Giant Dune Kimoglia Dragon will drop two types of scales: a RIS armor component called "GDK scale" that has no stats, and a +health bonus scale that is NOT a RIS component but is an enhancer additive for armor crafting and is only described as a Kimoglia Scale.

Is this correct? If yes, then my questions are done. It's just very, very confusing that this one mob will drop an item that isn't described as being from this mob.

all kimos, not only the GDK,drop the health-enhancing scales. someone in intrepid used tooffer 500k per stack to buy them. it's the highest offer i believe.but only GDK drops GDK scales, i sold two stacks of GDK Scales last weekend for 2.4 mil, a stack of 8 pices,and 1.8 mil, a stack of 6 pieces.

Thanks for the clarification -- i even asked a couple of AS's (not asses

in game recently and they had no idea -- i guess that's cause they need to be R.I.S. certified to know the difference.

Just a bit of further clarifcation....

The regular Kimogila Scales (the ones with a health bonus) are only useable in Assault type armor, not any kind of armor.
