yes as I have two 2handed melee speed Cas and I want to use them both while wearing compo and a backpack, guess il have to drop the backpack then and use one on a bandolier

a ca {clothing attachment} will go on any peice of clothing,
footwear
headwear
belts
pants
jackets
etc
that has sockets.
now if you are seeking clothing that can be worn at same time as say Compo
that would be
Bandolier
Shirt
Belt

SEAs for backpacks: It does not work. It has never worked in Live. It will (most likely) never work.
The 'sockets' on backpacks were orignally intended to be used to add 'cargo pockets' to expand the storage. This was removed before/in Beta (if i recall), they just never removed the socket coding from the backpacks.

Why not just get a 4 socket shirt, you can wear a shirt under composite...

not only no, but NO
Do not pay extra for backpacks with sockets either,
since at the moment sockets on backpacksdo not accept SEAs.
And if you see a backpack with mods on it, It isn't from attachments.
There are two backpacks (spec ops feild agent, and lightweight military) that come from schematics rewarded at themeparks.
These schematics will allow a Tailor to craft (for a limited amount) backpacks which contain mods.
Contact your local Tailor for more info about them.

There is a way to do it I just dont remember how. It has something to do with unequiping, opening a window (cant remember which.. examine, open, etc) and dropping it in a house, then dragging the ca somewhere on the window (picture of pack i think) Like I said dont remember how its done and its probably an exploit, but since the packs have sockets I cant seehow it is an illegal exploit. Wish I could remember how to do it as I'd love to drop a few on mine. I saw a thread on it a while ago but I cant seem to find it anymore.

hmm... I'll look and see when I log in later I have always put CAs into packs and last time i checked they are still showing up as mods... I hope theyre still sticking or I will be "mildly" upset to put it lightly.
