The Total Experience IS the boxed version of RoTW. There is no stand alone verison.

So (let me clear things up before some whiner muddles this thread by stupidity) for $25, you get:

The 'Total Experience' (TE) - This is available in most retail stores

Star Wars Galaxies (the original game)
Jump To Lightspeed - First expansion
Rage Of The Wookiees - New expansion
3 extra ship slots - making 6 total
the BARC speeder

So you get all that for the SAME PRICE you'd pay for any expansion for almost any game. Unless you decide to do
the digital download, you will instead get

Digital download (DD) - This you can get by using the 'Buy now' option on your launchpad.

Star Wars Galaxies (the original game)
Jump To Lightspeed - First expansion
Rage Of The Wookiees - New expansion
3 extra ship slots - making 6 total
the varactyl - lizard mount thing.

So the only difference really here is with the 'TE' you get the BARC speeder and an extra set of (5) disks. With the DD you don't get the disks or the BARC speeder, but you get a lizard mount.

Well.. your not stuck with it... you have to pay extra (buy the boxed set) to get the BARC.

No you just have to put in the code that is at the back of the Total Experience manual. You do not even have to put in the CDs.

Or u could buy that Digital thing and then u could trade the pet with me for my BARC speeder...

Just need to know if BARC speeder is faster than a swoop and how fast the Varactyl is.

Whoa you mean the price of the original game has in a sense gone down after being out for almost 2 years? What in the world is the economy coming to?

You could have just waited for the TE boxed set to come out and used the key on that for the expansion even though you may already have JTL and SWG. It is possible you know. What did you want? You expected Sony to continue to sell SWG JTL and a 3rd expansion seperatley at full price the same as when the game launched? Yea because we both know the sales would boost with that strategy. SWG is almost 2 years old. I'm suprised at this point I don't see it in the bargain bin for 10 bucks.

Edit: Also it seems this threads missing the other option of obtaining a BARC. You can also buy it in-game off of another person. I would rather pay a few million in game credits for a BARC then 30 US dollars for a digital vechicle.
