I read on these forums that recyclers are really expensive, so is a flora recycler schematic worth a lot too?

the shcematic itself isnt worth alot..you can usually find the schematics on the bazaars for 10-20K. Only schematics that seem to be worth anything on there own are the Tumble Blender Schematic, Metal Recycler Schematic, and the Agitator Motor Schematic. And all this depends on the server you play on.

As already posted, the schematics for the recyclers themselves are not that expensive. (Anecdote: I REALLY wanted a metal recycler, so I hit the bazaar vendor list and only found a schematic. 1 mil, I think. So I bought it, not knowing I needed the agitator, too. After I found out, I went back looking for that one. Nada. I found out that I could loot them off the Canyon Corsairs, so I head to Lok. Darned if I didn't loot two metal schematics while trying for the agitator schem. And to top it off, the agitator is broked, so I STILL don't have my recycler. Grr...) As a minor word of warning before anyone tries to buy these. According to the patch notes, loot will be adjusted in Patch #19. If functional, this would mean (theoretically, at any rate) that these schematics will be a little easier to come by soon.

I bought an agitator motor off the bazaar yesterday for 1k, seemed I remembered it from somewhere, looks like it was a good thing.

Hehe, you dont need an "agitator" motor for your metal recycler, just a "small" motor. Its blue, fully assembled when looted, and a much more common drop.

flora recyclers are all but useless considering how much trouble they are to make, since I've had mine about a month after they were released as a BE/Pre-Cu Doc/Chef I've not used mine once. If a BE/Chef/ex-doc doesn't use one ... what good are they?
Organic recyclers on the other hand ... yummmmmm

thats good to know. I have completed a metal and creature recycler...all I needed were the 4 spinner blades for flora...but maybe I won't do it now...at least I have a completed agitator motor :0
