The entire game seems to revolve around groups full of jedi.Lets look at loot.Genosian - solo cant get in the cave - large groups onlyDWB - large groups onlyImp NPC.s - lower level now drop total garbage, need a large group to attack the high level pve basesKrayts (used to be my favourite part of the game) - now drop garbageGDk's - no longer really exist as wild spawns have been removed from most of Lok.Kashyk - all quest based or needs a large group or drops garbageBlackSun - now level 88, drop mandalorian parts - not groovy wearable bounty hunter armorIs there anything / anywhere else worth killing / hunting / looting solo or 2 or 3 people?meran / merandor / lman
you tend to be a soloplayer, so this game is the wrong one for you! High-End Loot (if fixed) shouldn't be soloable, plain and simple!
The key is group and groupplay. So unless people tend to be soloplayers, and stick around pre-cu (where almost everything was soloable) feeling, not able to adapt, they never will be statisfied again, and my best advise is, cancel and move along.

I completely agree with the last post!
Put up the flamethrowers before you read the next couple sentences!
It seems that the devs have forgotten that many people that play this game aren't:
- In junior high, high school, or college with hundreds of hours of free time to play
- Able to wait for long periods of time to hunt for groupsso they cankill anything with decent loot
If a game that has (or more accurately, had) a couple hundred thousand players can't accommodate both styles of play it is probably time to move on. Although there are many things I didn't like about the CU - my sister and I stuck around afterwards and have found it bearable. But, as it was stated above, it seems like there are new lows much more often than new highs!
My sister and I find it pretty remarkable that two pure combat, level 80 toons find it SO difficult to kill 'high level' content. No, we don't have the most UBER items in the game, but come on....we took the time to acheive level 80 (all combat oriented) - supposedly 'Master' level characters! We don't have the time or (to be perfectly honest) the inclination to 'Guild Up' or depend on groups for the ability to have fun and make some money.
WoW looks better and better every day.
The devs clearly did not want the majority of the game to be soloable. If youexamine everything they've done since the CU it is all very anti-soloing. Even high level jedi need to group to do different quests and dungeons.
So clearly Jittaba's playstyle is the one more accepted by SOE for this game.

Not really mines, but that's what SOE want the majority to do. That's why I am a pure crafter now, with no combat skills. I simply don't have the time to group up/guild up, organise hunts, etc. etc. So if I don't have the opportunity to get "decent" stuff by playing with 1-2 persons from time to time, but have to be forced into groups, well.., I simply swithched to crafter. The crafting system still rocks, could be better, but I don't know any complex ones as SWG. If I want to loot and hunt, I go play other games. I can whine, I can cry, I can beg, I can whatever I want to do, SOE gives a f.uck about me (and I belive a huge amount of people). Sad but true.
So before you accussing me of having endlees hours of play, make sure you know that for 100%.
As I said, if you can't adapt, cancel and move along! SOE couldn't care less about you! (that's not being rude, but my opinion how SOE handles the customers)

Jit - Not saying that you have endless hours to play. But definately the type of player that SWG seems to be 'coding' for these days. Strange that they seem willing to dump a system that provides for those of us that were willing to pay a monthly fee to play a game only a couple nights a month.
Whatever....my final thought on the subject.....grouping sucks!
But groping.....now that can be alot of fun!!
