lol i just heard that the new jedi cloak, the one you loot from the cl 82 guy at the blackguard ruins place is not wearable over the jedi padawan robes, whats the point then, is there any of the cloaks avalible to wear over you robes?

Yep, there was a nice ongoing discussion about this in BETA. From what I recall the developers responce was that this was an alternative item to wearing the paddy robes.

Being that my character had not worn the robes more then a week after first unlocking I think this Cloak has a good appeal to me. The cloak model wa "borrowed" from the pre-existing clothing items to prevent the modeling staff to be forced to create a new item which can take months! Yes, it can seriously take well over 4-5 weeks to create a new article of clothing, map it to the various races then code the item correctly to have the buffs apply in the way their intended.

My guess would be that there are going to be more availble at a later date and this is nothing more then the developers honestly feeling sincre about giving sometihng back to the players while being able to circumvent time and budget restraints.

Again I must say, it's very likely my character will wear this Cloak over my existing clothing and afterall, my current items were designed with SEAs to allow for a cloak to be worn over them.

*if anyone has a screeny of my character wearing Jedi Paddy robes I'll pay them 200k .

thats if the cloak spawn isn't been camped at every hour
