Before anyone starts making all sorts of angry posts about the poor stats on the quest reward weapons in ToOW, wait until the schematics for thenew weapons are found. In the Stratics IRC chat last week, the devs said that there's a schematic somewhere in the expansion for every new weapon model. From the looks of things, many if not all of these new schematics come out of the Chu-Gon Dar Cube. It also looks like most or all of these new weapons require some sort of control item, that also comes out of the cube. (Similar to the way in which crafting a Berserker rifle requires both a schematic and a Berserker Stabalization Unit.) Based on the way that other weapons were being given out on the Blue Frogs, it looks like the stats shown on the Blue Frog weapons are the max possible stats that a crafted, capped weapon would be able to have. So, if you want to get a truely uber version of one of the new ToOW weapons, you need to figure out the combination of glowing items in the Chu-Gon Dar Cube that will generate the appropriate schematic and control item, and you also need to get enhancers to put into the weapon.

Now, its possible that the schematics themself will also suck, but until we actually see or not, let's not write off the entire expansion just because you can't get a fully complete uber weapon that beats everything else in the game, just by doing a simple quest that everyone can complete.
