I think that we need a recycle bin in every house or maybe just in our inventory.

Here is my idea for the bin. It takes too long to dump all the garbage of of my character sometimes. Especially if I am out hiting statics looking for a specific loot and I end up with all kinds of garbage pistols and stuff. It takes forever to delete it all individually and I do not want to turn of the confirm because there are times that my computer lag assists me in selecting the wrong item.

So what if I had a bin to drop everything in and dump it at once. It would show me a list of the items and say are you sure. In essence to save space it also would auto dump - after asking if you are sure - before you can leave the house again. How useful would that be.

As far as people that always find work arounds...it would also allow you temporary means to transfer items around if your house is full as well as your inventory should you need a small period to get things in order.

Just a thought...

I'd just be happy with being able to select more than one item at a time.

A little trick I've started using is keep a crate of backpacks around somewhere. When you need to clean-house (or inventory) pick everything up, drag it into the backpack, then delete the backpack (Be careful not to drag anything of importance into it, or at least check quick before you delete it). It goes a lot faster than deleting everything manually.

Yeah that sounds like a decent trick it actually didn't occur to me because I do not run into this problem alot it just kind of happened....but it had occured to me that others might experience the same problem.

I do a similar thing, but instead of backpacks, (which cost money) I use the unlocked containers that I have sliced open. Not only are they free, but they look like a garbage can. That way you don't take up that extra one item space in your house. (One item vs. a crate of backpacks and one loose backpack.)
