Thread: Question for Mandalorian Crafters/Owners: (RE: PLC)

Hi there, I'm the owner of the second piece of mandalorian armour on the Chilastra server, and for maybe 3 or 4 months now, no Protective Liquid Coatinghas been looted, either by us or by any other team. I recently found out that another person on our server looted a PLC not long after the time I looted mine, yet this person has not crafted yet.
My question to you is this: have you ever had more than one PLC at a time, or has more than one PLC existed on your servers concurrently. My theory is that only one PLC can exist on the server, and therefore this is holding up the looting of more PLCs.
Please, if you are a DWB raider, or a mandalorian/PLC owner, come forward and help me prove/disprove my theory.

I'm not talking about Chilly, I'm talking about other servers. I KNOW about the PLCs on Chilly, thats why I'm asking the other servers, who have more than 2 pieces of mando

If this is true maybe I shouldn't use the one I have on Naritus as a display piece in my house.

As the co-leader of a team that has successfully crafted two jetpacks and a helmet, I think I can safely say this theory is false; however, that does not imply that the PLCs are not still wickedly rare to loot. I have been in possession of two BLs for about 2 months now because the leader took an extended break to WoW and he was the only one who had completed the Miner Foreman's Quest. We always laugh because there is one person in our team who we believe has a flagged account for incredible loot, because on the last trip down to the bunker, he told me at the Smugg Outpost that he was going to loot a PLC, and by God, he did. 
That was in addition to the one our crafter was carrying on her avatar.

The DWB team on chilastra makes atleast 2 jetpacks a week... probably raid the dwb 2-3 days a week.... and they havent gotten a PLC in many months

Psssh, on weekends we raid 2-3 times a day. usually every other day on weekdays too.

why is it that on bria we have FoE who dose DWB runs abotu 3 times a week but i have yet to see one guy in Mando armor? *sigh* its gonna be really hard for me to get mine.....

Tempest has a group that makes DWB runs. Made around 15 jetpacks but the group has slowed down the number of runs. Down to about 2 a month now. Several months ago I went on one and looted the liquid.I beleive itwas the first looted on Tempest.Had bad luck making the helmet(the DE got aggro'd on and we lost all the stuff) and it hasn't dropped since.
As soon as someone loots it, it'll probably take a day or so to organise the trip in then it won't take long at all to craft the helmet.

i'm fairly sure that more than one can exist on a server at once. i'm 99.9% sure it has for sunrunner at some point...although existing ones has prolly already been used up. i know it's supposed to be an epic quest and all and the armor is categorized as 'epic' according to the devs...however the drop rate is waaaaay to low for it.
and what is the point of the stablizer being a guarantee drop if you cant make the finished product if you need the BL and PCL (so i'm told) to enter the crafting room? rather than making the stablizer i guarantee drop from the overlord...make it a random guarantee drop of either stabilizer, PCL, or BL.
It seems the only EPIC portion of the whole ordeal is the LOOT. from a quest/group activity standpoint...the Alum mineral questshould be the Epic portion (and it really is)...but it seems the acquiring the loot is a much much bigger ordeal. should the sense of accomplishment come from actually doing the quest rather than getting the loot?
