I looted a radio schematic, took it home to my alt, and he crafted a radio. To my disappointment, this item is crap. Here is why I think so:
- It doesn't use any new art. This is the same art they used for the Signal Finder, which an NPC named Rovim Minnoni will give you when you talk to him (he can be found outside the hotel at Lake Retreat, Naboo. I think they also reused this art for another item given to you at the village.
- It doesn't do anything; it is strictly decorative. At the very least, they should have given us the ability to "Listen" to it. Even better, they should have given us a way to listen to MP3 files ingame through it. Now that would have been cool.

my guildleader placed it on top of his imperial desk in ourmilitary office. rather then an entertainment radio, we kinda imagine it as a communications radio to keep our stormtroopers in check.

The SW visual dictionary calls it a "Sensor Pack" I believe. And yes, the rebels used them on Hoth. What they're used for in the movie, who knows. Another bit of useless "Sensor Pack" knowlegde: The action figure of K-3PO comes with one. Do a search on eBay and buy your own Sensor Pack! Or not...

Yeah,I have a couple Radios, and they're completely useless items. I just have them for decorations (because I'm a collector). But I really wish they worked like a jukebox or something...
It's just another example of a great idea the Devs had and they simply never went through with it.

I hope they use the code from the Juke Boxes to add some functionality to Radios, even if it isn't the complete selection of music the Jukebox gives you...
