Thread: I just looted the uberest thing and it almsot cost me my life talk about risk versus reward

I don't understand why people get mad at the loot from elders. People talk about how hard they are but then go out and kill 30 of them solo or with one other person in a buff session. They're high level but obviously they're not that difficult to take out. If you want a difficult NPC go for the death watch overlord, I can understand getting pissed at not getting good loot if you kill 30 overlords. Dark Jedi Masters are supposidly hard also. If you take out a jedi sentinal and get credits off him then I'll feel your pain.

Hows this for risk versus reward...............elder with a stun baton.........me with my power hammer 37% stun armor and a psg.....and 50 stim e's in my back pack.
My prize?
Clothing attachement
stat:[Polearm_Damage] 25
Instrument Assembly 25
If I am not mistaken one of the toughest things to solo just dropped a doubly broken clothing attachment.
But hey.....I haven't floated off a chair in a while.

I feel your pain mate 
I once failed to loot a single decent thingafter a mate and I killed 30+ elders in a row. Not one crystal or attachment. Just crappy lances (no good DOTs or anything either). Something not right when you kill something as tough as an Elder and walk away with some pieces of heavy duty leather

DEAR GOD DON'T DELETE THAT ATTACHMENT!!!!!
How much would you ask for it if you didn't delete it already?

If i see an Elder with a stun baton - RUN! But you make a good point, the risk vs reward does seem to be a bit messed up sometimes. There is nothing worse than killing something like an Ancient Krayt or an Elder and finding it empy or with some useless item that should drop off a meatlump.
