When will the Bestine Election end? It seems likes its been way overdue.

The vote counters & the candidates are too busy playing JtL to bother with such petty things as elections.
Oh yes, and I want the results!!!

do you mean the current one or are you under the assumption that the election has never elected a winner? i believe the election cycles are on a 2-3 week cycle, not sure. 2-3 weeks after the first cycle i voted for sean and went and he was in office and i received my reward (an ornate rug). haven't done it since.
i was gonna vote for victor to get the imp banner but everyone wants the rug *sigh*

The last time i check on it was sunday... but yes... it has been over due.. this is the 3 rd one I think...

No, im talking about this one, I know there has already been past elections and it seems like they ended way earlier than this one is going to.

On naritus I voted back in the middle of August and I check with the goveroner and with victor and they both say the election is still going.

I checked again this morning on Ahazi and still the election is not done. Is this some kind of glitch? I am thinking the devs need to take a look at this.

Same on Radiant 
I cheked this morning and still voting since end of july.
But.....it's not strange if you think they must count votes from all planets around the galaxy, including those from the NPCs

I voted last Friday for victor on farstar, and by Sunday he had won the election and I won a crappy necklace from him not the banner I wanted

They could solve this all by either posting a system message or sending emails when an election is complete - I know I missed a complete cycle once and was robbed of a reward because I don't usually go to Bestine without a reason.

got my banner on sunday 
and I'm not even an imp !
you should be able to pick the gift of your choice...
I think I've read that you can't have another gift from the same character before three election cycle...

Sean Trenwell won in Infinity. Got my Ornate Rug.
God, almost hundred Rebel NPC's that we used to see in Imperial corvette occupied Bestine, Rebel Ensigns and Commandos. Ofcourse Imperial players didnt loose time to kill half of them, then Rebel players arrived.. When there happens more Rebels in Area, Empire send Elite troops, nova troopers(150K ham)and tons of AT-ST's as reinforcement.. MAN that was a BLAST! Never had more fun before...
Ofcourse I really dont like PvP stuff but was good to watch all things...
FUNNY thing was.. the NPC's (that are not attackable) like (a commner or a pilot) was attacking Nova Troopers too with one handed weapons. They were not killable by both sides.
