I was wondering what the luck skill actually does. I got a couple ideas but not sure what one is right. My guess it does one of the following:

1 Increases amount of credit by a small %

2 Increases the chance/quality of recieving a looted item

3 Increases the chance of excpetional items

I would guess 1 possible 2 could be right but its not lookin like it affects exceptional cause i never gotten an exceptional item since i got the FS skill on one of my chars. What are you guys opinions?

I think is only number 1, a friend of mine have luck and he is looting the same, only a little more of money. It's a little dark how luck works...

I would guess it's only 1 that is in effect.

Seems to me like the loot would be spawned when you kill the NPC, not when you loot it. If it's when you kill the NPC, how would the luck factor workin big groups?

I think everytime there is a post on this board that says, "I can't find this *item* and have be killing *mob* for 3 days straight", and that the time somebody responds, "I got 10 of those last night, you are just 'unlucky'.", they repspondee and poster should post their FS luck tree level, and then maybe we could gather some useful statistics.

None of this would be a problem if the devs would just say what the skill does. What the hell is the point of keeping people in the dark?

Sometimes I feel like a mushroom kept in the dark and fed bull plop.

Ive got box one of FS luck. Well with credit drops I cant really tell loot one NS get 1500 creds the next one get 400. As far as items go well ever since ive got that box ive gotten some pretty nice stuff but yet still a bunch of worthless cdef crap and rebel orders from higher end mobs. If its because of the luck box I cant tell because I still manage to loot and deletea bunch of garbage. Ive never looted an exceptional weapon period. But I have looted a few really nice pikes. IMO a lot better than the regular crapola that drops off NS 80% of the time.

I have 1 box. I tend to get nicer stuff than the guys I hunt with, who do not have any fs luck. Also, the one person with 4 boxes that I know of, does better than I do...

I'm a believer.
